While many firms use Micron CE Manager for their internal CLE tracking system, another player is viLMS CLE. Many firms have used vi’s suite of products for recruiting and performance evaluations, but their LMS was lacking. Recently, vi launched a brand new and much better version of viLMS CLE. Aderant, a popular billing software company, has also acquired vi. Jones Day, which has used an internally developed database for CLE tracking for many years, has decided to switch to a 3rd party solution and has chosen viLMS CLE. It is likely that other firms will abandon paying for multiple platforms when they can keep track of CLE and internal training in one product.
