Many students have more than 2 devices; desktops, laptops, tablets, phones etc. Constantly logging in and out is so frustrating, I sit with 3 devices at my desk all day and not having access to Quimbee on all three is frustrating!

Increase the device limit

I hate having to constantly log out my previous device when switching to a new one. I have several computers, tablet, and a phone and it's hyper-frustrating to play these log-out games. Quimbee might be a little too paranoid and it's ruining the experience.

As a law student I get free access to case briefs and explanations that are often casebook specific via Westlaw and Lexis. Quimbee's value to me is its convenience and user interface on its apps and website. That convenience does come with a high price tag, so when I have to deal with silly convenience issues I get pretty bothered.
Quimbee limits device access to two devices. I use Quimbee the most on my laptop and IPad, but also frequently use Quimbee on my phone and home desktop computer. It feels like Every. Gosh. Darn. Time. I try to get on Quimbee I have to enter a validation code and choose what device I no longer want access to.
For the $$ I spend on something I can just get slightly less convenient access to for free, I have high expectations for Quimbee's customer experience. I would love to see the two device maximum increased to four devices. Quimbee states that it limits devices to two to "safeguard the security of your account". Limiting device access in general is important, but surely a small adjustment to how many devices can access one's account would not compromise Quimbee's stated interest much if at all.
Users who pay as much money as they do for access to information on Quimbee should not be limited to only being able to access Quimbee on 2 devices. I'd really like to see the device maximum increased to 4 devices.

Increase the device limit to three devices instead of two
Currently, Quimbee imposes a two-device limit on each account. If a user accesses his or her Quimbee account with a third device, then the user must deactivate one of the other two devices. The purpose of this idea is to increase the limit from two to three devices.

Devices and Validation

(1) We should not be limited to only 2 devices.
(2) There should be a way to remove a device so it no longer counts toward the limit without having to validate.
(3) Validation options should include an email address because most people would rather guard their phone number.

More than one device in one location / on one network

I use a desktop and a laptop. It's really annoying to have to send a code to my phone every time I switch between devices. Usually I don't have my phone with me because I'm studying, and it becomes a whole thing. Thanks for considering this!

glad I'm not the only one. CIO at quimbee is living on another planet. 2 device limit rofl, completely overbroad in addressing whatever issue they think exists. it's 2021
