Closed Captioning Implementation and Functionality | Accessibility Request

I am writing to formally request the integration of closed captioning capabilities within the Quimblee application on iOS or Android. The absence of this feature presents a significant accessibility gap that may implicate compliance obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which establish standards for equitable access to digital content. Closed captioning would serve users who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as individuals operating in sound-restricted environments or those for whom English is not a primary language.
I would recommend that any implementation include user-configurable display options such as font size, color contrast, and positioning, consistent with industry best practices. Incorporating this functionality would demonstrate a meaningful commitment to inclusive design and proactive regulatory alignment.
